You Don't Need To Be Rich
Most people do not realise what a good deal one of Tobago's villas is!Example! A 4 bedroom villa overlooking the fairway of a championship golf course. Ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom, airconditioning, with 2 double beds per bedroom. Private swimming pool. Jacuzzi. Gazebo. Big color TV with satelite dish, VCR, Stereo. Decor is wood, hewn stone and marble. And maid service 6 days a week! . All this for a high season rate of $US500 per night. Fit for King You!
It's $US 385 per night if you come between 16 April and 15 December, which is the low season. But note that June to November is considered the rainy season.
Of course, if your taste is more modest , so are the rates correspondingly But Can You Afford It?
Do the math! With eight souls in the house, that US$500 is down to US$62.50 per night. Hardly the cost of a good motel in the United States, and certainly much cheaper than a good hotel in any world-class city. If you choose the off season it is less expensive still.
An ExampleThere are at least 150 villas in Tobago, in varying sizes and locations and degrees of sophistication. One realty company lists over 55 for rent. So here is random sampling.

One upstairs on the entrance level, the other downstairs on the
pool level.
Pool has an adjoining hottub.
Upstairs balcony overlooks a panoramic view of the Atlantic.
